Father Norman Carroll graduated from St. Mary’s Seminary in Baltimore. He was ordained October 23, 1993, by Bishop Robert E. Mulvee.
A Wilmington native, he attended Neumann College and Seton Hall University. Following his ordination at St. Peter Cathedral in Wilmington, his priestly assignments have been:
Associate Pastor, St. Hedwig, Wilmington, DE;
Associate Pastor, Immaculate Heart of Mary, Wilmington, DE;
Pastor, St. Benedict / St. Elizabeth, Ridgely, MD (2000-2009);
Pastor, St. Elizabeth, Wilmington, DE (2009-2022);
Pastor, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Bear, DE (2022-Present).
He also currently serves as the director of the Diocesan Vocations Office.
Father Carroll has been Dean of the City Deanery, a member of the Priests’ Council, the Vocations Board, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith Board and the College of Consultors.
