COORDINATOR OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, a vibrant, multi-ethnic parish in Bear, DE is seeking a part-time Coordinator of Religious Education to develop, implement and evaluate all formal Religious Education in the Parish for approximately 200 students. The Coordinator is responsible for religious education classes, catechist formation, sacramental preparation, overseeing OCIA and monitoring home study.

Minimum required qualifications will include:

• Practicing Catholic in good standing committed to the authentic teachings of the Catholic Faith.
• A bachelor’s degree in Religious Education or Theology and knowledge, skills, and abilities obtained through three years of parish and/or education experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Spanish literacy is a plus but not required.

Additional hours and potential growth can be discussed depending on ability and parish needs.
