Join Seton's Children's Christmas Choir

The music department has received requests for a Children’s choir for Christmas. We have had a University student who is a music major volunteer to help with the training and coordination, so we are going to open registration for such a choir starting in mid-October. Look for registration forms in the gathering space after October 5th.

At present, we believe that we can have 6 rehearsals, 3 in November and 3 in December on Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm practicing for 60 minutes. Children will sing at the 4pm mass on Christmas Eve. 

We will accept children who are between 5-15 years in age. The children must WANT to be there, and be capable and prepared to sit and learn for an hour per session. There is no cost for participation. 

Parents are strongly encouraged to come and remain in the church the entire time while the group rehearses. Parents who are musicians, vocal and/or instrumental are also encouraged to participate with the children (making it a “family” choir).
