Our parish is once again participating in the 2024 Faith and Charity Catholic Appeal.  This year's theme is: "One Body, One Spirit in Christ" 

In recognizing our unity as one body, we acknowledge the strength that comes from the Spirit of Christ among us. The theme echoes the essence of our collective journey, highlighting the interconnectedness of our community in the light of Christ's spirit.

By participating in the Faith and Charity Catholic Appeal, you contribute to the support of more than forty pastoral, charitable, and educational programs and ministries that enrich and strengthen our diocesan community.

How You Can Participate?

Thank you for your support to date.  It is important that we acheive our individual parish goal regardless of whether the Diocesean Goal has been acheived, since we retain the excess funds for use in our parish.

SOCIAL AND COMMUNITY CARE SERVICES
Your generosity provides services offered by the Catholic Charities offices throughout the Diocese of Wilmington. Through the programs and services of Catholic Charities, the Diocese of Wilmington brings new life and love into the hearts of those we cherish the most – our elderly and disabled and underserved, along with their families and caregivers. Together, we offer support to the weak, vulnerable and disenfranchised.

EVANGELIZATION AND FAITH FORMATION
Lay leadership training, intercultural ministries, marriage enrichment, adult faith formation, liturgical catechesis and other evangelization efforts, along with your gifts, kindle the fire of faith into a bright beacon for all to see.

YOUTH, YOUNG ADULT AND CAMPUS MINISTRIES
Your donation provides support for the next generation and enables programs like Youth Ministry, Young Adult Ministry, College Campus Ministries/Newman Centers, and a growing number of parish-based Youth Ministry programs and many more activities to build community and prepare our youth and young adults for the mission that God has chosen for them.

PERMANENT DIACONATE FORMATION
Your support ensures that parishes and ministries have the assistance of formed Deacons to help bring the light of Jesus into the world. Through prayers and support, we currently have 121  deacons in the Diocese of Wilmington.

CATHOLIC EDUCATION – “ONE BODY IN CHRIST”
Catholic schools are an integral part of the teaching mission of the Church. Catholic schools build faith, develop leadership ability and provide academic excellence in a safe environment. Your gift will help keep our schools vibrant and successful for families to send children to our schools that foster Catholic values, develop character and provide academic excellence.

OFFICE OF VOCATIONS
Your generosity assists our vocations office to provide outreach, support and guidance for our current seminarians as well as our discerning young men for religious life. “Let us together discover the treasures that God has in store for us.”  ~Bishop Koenig

INCENTIVES FOR PARISH INITIATIVES
When our parish collects its goal amount, the parish will receive a rebate. All funds over goal - 100% will be returned to our parish to foster our charitable and ministerial work.
