Families requesting baptism at Seton Parish must be registered members.

Parents wishing to have a child baptized are asked to attend the Baptism Preparation program.  Please register by calling the parish office and complete the following form.

Baptisms are celebrated the first 3 Sundays of each month at a 12:30 p.m. Baptism Service.  You may also schedule to celebrate a Baptism during any weekend Masses.  Note: Baptisms are not celebrated during the Lenten season.

A Godparent is to be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the church, at least 16 years of age, and have received the Sacrament of Confirmation. If the Godparent is not a member of our parish, they need to obtain a sponsor certificate (letter of eligibility) from their parish. A practicing, baptized member of another Christian church may act as a Christian Witness in place of one of the Catholic Godparents.


Reconcilliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is celebrated on Saturdays at 4:15 p.m.. The doors to the Daily Mass Chapel are open at that time and the Chapels of Reconciliation are off the hallway leading to the Meditation Walkway. You may always call to make an appointment for this sacrament.

In order to make 1st Reconciliation you must be in second grade or older and be in Catholic school or Religious Education the year of the sacrament and the year prior.





eucharist

The Sacrament of Eucharist or Holy Communion is celebrated on with each Mass. 

In order to make 1st eucharist you must be in second grade or older and be in Catholic school or Religious Education the year of the sacrament and the year prior.








Confirmation

The Sacrament of Confirmation.

Confirmation will be celebrated on October 15, 2016 by Bishop Malooly…Please pray for the youth of our parish.









marriage

Couples planning to celebrate marriage at Seton Parish are to contact one of the priests or deacon at least one year prior to the wedding. The diocesan Marriage Policy involves Pre-Cana or Engaged Encounter, meetings with the priest or deacon, and a meeting with a mentoring couple.

Anyone seriously ill or facing surgery is invited to celebrate this sacrament. Please call the parish office for an appointment or see one of the priests after Mass

Please pray for vocations to the priesthood, religious life and deaconate.
